"Unlocking the Beauty Within"
Workshop Series
What is “The Beauty Within”?
“Inner Beauty” is the greatness that we all possess within ourselves. This includes all of our strengths, abilities, qualities, character traits, talents and values.
“Inner Beauty” is using all of our potential to the maximum- achieving all that we were created and put into this world to achieve. Living with self-trust, confidence and happiness. Living in peace and harmony with others.
The ability to laugh, sing and smile, to rise above life’s challenges.
What do we mean by “Unlocking”?
“Unlocking” refers to removing obstacles and barriers. These take a number of different forms:
One type is false beliefs and perceptions we have of ourselves, the world and others around us.
These beliefs are inaccurate impressions we have learned about ourselves and which we hold onto even if they do not serve us or provide us with what it is we want to be getting out of our lives.
“Unlocking” means bringing unconscious thoughts to the surface of our mindful awareness. Awareness of the destructive and damaging beliefs we carry around with us as well as awareness of our strengths, talents and abilities.
The reason they are “locked” is because we are closed and shutdown by fear and negativity. When we feel afraid and unsafe we withdraw and shut down in order to protect ourselves. When we are in a negative space our mood sinks and our energy drains out of us, leaving us very little motivation or inspiration left to invest into our daily lives.
Objectives of the Course:
This course has been specifically designed to reduce the amount of fear and negativity participants are living with. This includes:
a) Gaining an awareness of their strengths and abilities, getting in touch with their deepest and most noble
selves,
b) Becoming aware of the way their minds may be communicating to them with judgments, blame,
demands, condemnations, and expectations, often said in a harsh, cruel, unrealistic or unfair way,
c) Learning to tone down the volume and force of this inner critical voice and replace it with a more
loving, caring and friendly way of being with oneself,
d) Gaining an understanding of what self-esteem is, how it develops from early childhood and what can be
done to enhance it.
Outcomes:
Participants will learn practical tools to:
